JAMMU, Dec 18: The Democratic Azad Party (DAP) here today appointed district and zonal presidents along with others.
As per a handout 13 district presidents were appointed and they were Ayub Takur, District president for Pulwama; Mushtaq Ahmed Khandey, Shopian; Mir Muneer, Kupwara; Shoib Lone, Baramulla; Vinod Sharma, Jammu Urban; Ashwani Khajuria, Udhampur; Sushil Sharma, Rajouri; Brijeshwar Singh Bindroo, Kathua; Asif Jehan Gattu, Doda; Shabbir Ahmed Lone, Kishtwar; Surinder Singh, Reasi Rural; Rattan Singh (as working president), Reasi Rural and Bishan Mangotra, Reasi Urban.
DAP has also appointed five Zonal presidents and they were Gulzar Ahmed Wani, zonal president for South Kashmir; Peer Bilal, central Kashmir; Chaudhary Gharu Ram, central Jammu; Prithviraj Manhas, Chenab valley and Zahid Malik, Pir Panjal.
Basher Aarif has been appointed as secretary to the chairman DAP while Prabha Slathia is appointed as Jammu province women wing president of DAP.
