POONCH, Feb 8: District Administration in collaboration with Chanakya IAS Academy, Jammu, organized a free seminar aimed at guiding aspiring candidates on how to prepare for the All India Services and Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) examinations.
The Director of the Academy, extends gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Yasin M. Choudhary for extending an invitation to the IAS Academy to conduct a seminar in the picturesque district of Poonch.
Principal SKC Degree College Poonch, Dr.Jasbir Singh, Principal Degree College Mendhar, Dr Mohd.Azam, Prof Fateh Mohd. Abassi from Degree College Surankote, besides other professors from GDC Poonch and students from Degree College Mendhar, Surankote and Poonch as well.
Principal Poonch College, Dr. Jasbir Singh highlighted the achievements of former student Prasanjeet Kour, IAS during seminar and showcasing the remarkable success story as an inspiration to aspiring civil servants.
Deputy Commissioner graced the occasion as the chief guest. Additionally, Prasanjeet Kour (IAS) and Zahoor Khawaja (JKAS) were also present as the distinguished guests.
Prasanjeet Kour and Zahoor Khawaja highlighted their personal journeys, recounting the opportunities and successes they have experienced throughout their careers. They also delivered informative sessions on effective strategies and techniques for preparing for the IAS and JKAS examinations.
Deputy Commissioner emphasized the significance of these prestigious examinations and encouraged the youth to embark on a journey of preparation for IAS/JKAS and other competitive exams. He emphasized the potential of these examinations to shape a bright and promising future for the aspirants.
Later, students and speakers also engage in dynamic question- answer session. The seminar provided a unique platform for students to interact directly with accomplished speakers from various fields. The event provided a platform for students to expand their horizons and gain valuable insights beyond the confines of their classrooms.
