Disturbers of public peace can’t be allowed to go scot-free: Pathania

UDHAMPUR, Oct 30: Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Udhampur East, today made it clear that disturbers of public peace cannot be allowed to go scot-free.
In a series of public meetings held in the Udhampur area, Pathania highlighted the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) steadfast commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of every citizen. “Our Government is resolute in its fight against terrorism. We will not rest until we eliminate the threats that seek to undermine our society,” he stated. He called upon the community to remain vigilant and proactive in reporting any suspicious activities, reinforcing the idea that peace is a collective responsibility.
“The sacrifices made by our security forces are commendable, and we owe it to them to stand united against forces that aim to create chaos,” Pathania added. He reiterated that the BJP will continue to work tirelessly to strengthen law enforcement agencies and enhance their capabilities in tackling terrorism and maintaining public order.
In addition to addressing security concerns, Pathania also inaugurated two significant Public Works Department (PWD) projects aimed at improving local infrastructure, namely, Construction of Road from PWD Office to Mergedi via Bhagwan Singh Manhas Mohalla and construction of road from Kabrastan to Chatrah, PH Chiani.
These projects, with a combined budget of approximately Rs 25 lakhs each are expected to enhance connectivity and spur economic growth in the region. “These roads will not only facilitate smoother transportation but also create opportunities for local businesses and improve the quality of life for residents,” he said.
Among those present in the meetings and inauguration, included Gopal Singh Mankotia (Mandal Pradhan), Ashok Bhagat, Uttam Singh, Om Singh, Deepak Singh, Madho Singh, Veena Devi, Anil Sharma, Naresh Kumar among others.
