Div Com discusses issues pertaining fly over at Bikram Chowk

JAMMU Nov 16: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Pradeep Gupta convened a meeting to discuss the issues  regarding construction of fly over and widening  of road from Bikram Chowk to Convent School.
District Development Commissioner, Jammu,  Sanjeev Verma, Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, Jammu, Sarita Chouhan, CEO, ERA, Sourabh Bhagat, Municipal Commissioner, Jammu, K.L. Khajuria, DGM, BSNL, Kulbhushan Sharma, MD, SRTC, J.S. Tendon, Director ERA, Vinod Sharma, Joint Director of Information/ Administrator Kala Kendra, Jammu, Soujanya Sharma, Joint Director Horticulture Sonam Norboo, Principal Government College for Women, Gandhinagar, Dr. Kiran Bakshi, Deputy General, Manager, Housing Board,  besides other officers of different department  were present in the meeting.
Mr. Pardeep Gupta stressed upon the concerned agencies to gear up the process of shifting of constructions and other utilities for timely implementation of the project.
It is pertinent to mention here that the proposed fly over will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 95.50 crore.  The width of fly over will be 17.0 metres and proposed length of fly over is 1.3 Kms and road length to be widened to 8 lane is 1.5 kms under Jammu and Kashmir Urban sector Development investment Programme (JKUSDIP) by ERA.
