JAMMU, Feb 26: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr Pawan Kotwal today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for ensuing Maha Shivratri Festival commencing from March 6 to 8 at Shiv Khori (Ramsoo) in district Reasi.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Sushma Chauhan, SSP Traffic NHW, Sanjay Kotwal, SP Reasi Sujit Kumar, Joint Director Tourism Department, Namrita Dogra and EO SSKSB Mahesh Sharma.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner discussed all the necessary arrangements with the officers including security, traffic control,Law & order, power and water supply, maintenance of roads, medical facilities, sanitation, price and quality control check.
The Divisional Commissio-ner exhorted upon the concerned departments to ensure that all necessary arrangements are put in place well in time for the convenience of pilgrims coming to attend the festival at Shiv Khori.
It is pertinent to mention here that every year, a three-day Maha Shivratri festival is organized at the famous Shiv Khori Cave Shrine of Lord Shiva nestled in Shivalik Hills.
