JAMMU, Sept 6: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, today reviewed the issues pertaining to the expansion of Jammu Airport.
The issues which were discussed included construction of alternate road connecting Nikki Tawi, shifting of 132 KV double circuit canal, shifting of Tawi feeder channel D-9A of escape channel, shifting of 11 KV electric lines and shifting of sewerage lines and progress of different works
The Divisional Commissioner directed the officers to work with coordination and synergy to complete the works within stipulated time frame.
To monitor progress of various works, Bhandari directed the concerned officers to undertake frequent site visits. He also directed the officers for completion of all the projects and works by ending December 2017.
IGP , Jammu , Dr. S.D Singh, Director, Airports Authority, Director, ERA, senior officers from M&RE, PHE, PWD besides officers from Army, Air Force ,Revenue, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Power Development Department and Urban Environmental Engineering Department were present in the meeting.
