JAMMU, Feb 20: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu conducted video conference with Deputy Commissioners of Jammu province to take stock of action taken report/status of various vital issues here today.
Threadbare discussion was held on various issues pertaining to Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding preservation of wetlands and functioning of tuition centres, status of complaints received from Vigilance Organisation, status of complaints received from Grievance Cell, preventive measures to combat Swine Flu, functioning of administrative units and damages caused to roads due to recent heavy rainfalls etc.
Shantmanu impressed upon all the Deputy Commissioners to ensure early redressal of all these vital issues in their respective districts for the convenience of the people.
He directed all the Deputy Commissioners for early disposal of vigilance complaints and complaints from Grievance Cell. He also directed to take all preventive measures to combat Swine flu in Jammu province. He was informed about the availability of medicines and other materials to fight against Swine Flu.
Chief Engineer R&B Jammu, Additional Commissioner Jammu Rehana Batul, Assistant Commissioner Central Sachin Dev Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalyan Singh, CMO Jammu, CEO Jammu besides other senior officers of various departments were present on the occasion.
