Leh, Apr 20: Divisional Commissioner, UT Ladakh, Saugat Biswas, who is also the G20 Nodal Officer in Ladakh, chaired a meeting regarding the upcoming Y20 Pre-Summit scheduled to be held in Leh from April 26 to 28 under the aegis of G20 India Summit.
The agenda of the meeting was to apprise the designated Liaison Officers (LOs) of their roles and responsibilities as an interface between UT Ladakh and the visiting dignitaries of the prestigious Youth Summit.
The Liaison Officers have been selected from the Higher Education and School Education Departments and the University of Ladakh. For the smooth conduct of the event, the Administration is deploying about fifty LOs and a sufficient number of excursion guides on various duties during the Y20 Pre-Summit.
The meeting also discussed in detail the logistics and program details of the entire three-day event.
Representatives from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GoI virtually attended the meeting beside Deputy Commissioner, Leh; Senior Superintendent Police, Leh. Director, School Education Department, Ladakh; Director, Tourism Department, Ladakh; SP, Security; Registrar, University of Ladakh; Chief Education Officer, Leh along with all the liaison officers from UoL and Police Department attended the meeting.
