Divisive forces out to divide J&K by raising hollow slogans: Kamal

JAMMU, June 23: “Youth is not only the pride but also the strength of National Conference. I am proud of the NC workers who are working devoutly, honestly and with great endeavour to strengthen the Party. Youth of the party must remain vigilant from the divisive forces, who are trying to divide the State on the basis of region, religion, caste and creed by giving hollow slogans.”
These comments were made by the additional general secretarty, J&K National Conference, Dr Mustafa Kamal, during the one-day convention of J&K Youth National Conference, Jammu Province, held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan here, where he was invited as a chief guest.
He asserted that Omar Abdullah Government is doing its best to mitigate unemployment from the State by launching various schemes for unemployed youth. Recently Centre has also launched a Scheme Ujala under which 12000 unemployed educated youth will be trained and provided employment in the public sector, he added.
President, Jammu province, J&K NC, Rattan Lal Gupta, said that Coalition Government of the State under the dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah has give a new direction to the State by bringing peace, prosperity and brotherhood.
“Opposition parties are busy in mischievous campaigns by creating confusion and misinformation among the people in order to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the State”, he added.
Provincial President, Youth NC, S S Bunty, while addressing, presented a charter of demands pertaining to the youth of the State. He urged the Government to take appropriate measures to minimize the sufferings of the youth of the State by adopting job oriented schemes and creating infrastructure for more and more industries so that the socio-economic conditions of the State becomes better.
Others present on the occasion were MLA Bimla Luthra, Provincial, President, Women Wing, Laxmi Dutta, Kashmira Singh, Jugal Mahajan, Bhushan Lal Bhat, Ayub Malik, Rajesh Bakshi besides districts presidents and block presidents of Jammu province.
