Diya making competition held

JAMMU, Oct 31: A Diya making competition was held in Primary Wing of Vishwa Bharati Public Higher School, Akalpur here in which the tiny tots of primary section exhilaratingly participated and made sumptuous diyas showing their wonderful dexterity.
The programme was organized by the Primary teacher  Pushpa Koul and the dexterous performance of the students was adjudged by the school fine arts teacher  Ashok Koul according to which students were given prizes.
From class 3rd, Vansh Verma got Ist Prize, Kamakshi Raj 2nd and Divyanshu Dogra 3rd.
From class 4th ‘A’, Vansh Singh Chib got Ist Prize, Shub Mahajan 2nd and Nikhil Kumar 3rd.
From class 4th ‘B’, Ishika Bral got Ist Prize, Shiveta Saini 2nd and Niharika Gupta 3rd.
From Class 5th ‘A’ Riya Pandita got first prize, Sahil Sharma 2nd and Ritika Lakhotra 3rd.
From Class 5th ‘B’ Priya got first, Disha Bhat 2nd and Anamika 3rd prize.
School Principal Prof. Annapurna Koul admired and encouraged the tiny angels for making captivating diyas.
