JAMMU, June 16: DK Films Jammu has made it into the Prime Time Programming of Doordarshan, the first ever from the State.
DK Films Jammu will create history and bring laurels to the State, when its 1st episode production titling “Rashivilla” will become a Doordarshan prime time presentation under Self Financing Commissioning category. Producer of the programming Dharminder Kohli attributes this historical credit to the whole of the Production Houses of the State.
The production has been shot in “Samvad” studio in Mumbai by a renowned Director Som R Shastri, whose 250 episodes screening of “Adhikar” serial has made a grand and successful entry in the official record of the Media Files of Doordarshan.
Brij Katyal, son of the soil, presently residing in Mumbai is the writer of the serial, which is another pride for the State’s identity. Brij Katyal has a credit to write for a number of Bollywood Feature Films.
After making all efforts for bagging a name and fame in the Media World of the State, Dharminder Kohli believes that experience of his 20 years had given entry for Prime Time and is hopeful for this Prime Time Presentation to be its best.
The artists of “Rashivilla” are from Mumbai and the eminent faces are Raju Kher, Upasna Singh (of Kapil Nights), Himmat Panday and Meenakshi, Manoj. The serial will have a telecast thrice in a week–Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 9:30 pm.
