GANDERBAL, Mar 24: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore here today chaired a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) to discuss and approve cases received under Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) in the district.
The committee approved 1535 cases of various sectors, including agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and allied fields.
During meeting, the DC emphasised evaluating progress, addressing challenges and outlining a strategy for the accelerated implementation of the programme to benefit eligible farmers.
He underscored the potential of the HADP scheme to boost employment in the region and urged all concerned departments to extend full support to individuals seeking employment in agriculture and related fields
The DC emphasized that effective collaboration among concerned departments is essential for proper planning, execution and monitoring of HADP activities.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, GM DIC, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Agriculture Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Assistant Director Fisheries and other committee members.
