POONCH, July 3: District Magistrate Poonch has issued the order for imposing a fine of Rs 200 against the persons moving in public places without wearing masks as a precautionary measure to combat the spread of COVID-19.
In the follow up of this order , today Civil Administration of Tehsil Mendhar under the supervision of Sub Divisional Magistrate Mendhar (SDM) Dr Sahil Jandyal, comprising of Naib Tehsildar Ashfaq Ahmed Fani, conducted special drive and found people without wearing masks. The Naib Tehsildar realised a fine of Rs 5000 in Mendhar town from those who have violated directions of the DM Poonch.
SDM warned the general public to follow DM’s order with regard to Covid guidelines otherwise, officers will continue their campaign in the entire Sub Division.
