JAMMU, Oct 30: To fortify the security of critical projects, District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya convened a crucial meeting at district headquarters today. The meeting focused on devising effective measures to ensure the safety and security of both the structures and the workforce.
Recognising the significance of protecting vital assets, the District Magistrate put forth a series of measures to bolster security. These included the installation of CCTV cameras at strategic locations, the implementation of strict checks on the movement of workers and visitors and the arrangement of dedicated security teams for enhanced vigilance.
SSP Joginder Singh also briefed the meeting, which included SDMs, Executive Engineers, representatives from construction companies and senior officers from NHAI, NHIDCL and ACR Jammu Dr. Rajesh Kumar, about safety measures in place and safety practices which are to be adopted.
