JAMMU, Jan 5: Divisional administration today deputed team of senior doctors from different hospitals to the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu to monitor condition of four civilians injured in Dhangri terror attack and admitted here after being airlifted from Rajouri.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar told the Excelsior that the team has been sent to the GMC Jammu to ensure best medicare for the terror victims.
The team include two senior doctors each from Military Hospital and AIIMS Jammu and one each from Narayana Katra and ASCOMS Jammu.
The team met injured to inquire their condition. It also discussed the treatment being given to them with concerned doctors.
Meanwhile, CRPF teams have reached Dhangri where six civilians were killed in twin terror strikes on New Year.
Police have also started process to strengthen existing Village Defence Committees (VDCs) and set up new ones.
Bandh was observed in Mendhar town of Poonch district and Akhnoor in Jammu today in protest against the civilian killings at Dhangri.
People also took out protests in the towns denouncing the killings.
