BHADERWAH, Aug 3: Three Government employees, including a doctor, were today suspended by Sub Divisional Magistrate for remaining absent during duty hours in Malanoo area, here.
“Akhter Hussain, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thathri, conducted a surprise inspection of Primary Health Center (PHC), Malanoo and ordered suspension of three employees for remaining absent during duty hours in Malanoo area”, an official spokesman said.
During the inspection, SDM Thathri, Akhter Hussain Qazi found Dr Shakeel Ahmed, a dental surgeon, Annie Kumar, a dental assistant and Shanaz Tabassum, a senior assistant absent following which all of them were placed under suspension till pending enquiry. He also recommended their names to higher authorities for necessary action, the spokesman said.
While an enquiry has been initiated and explanations have been sought from erring officials, others have been told to remain punctual, he said.
