RAJOURI, Jan 21: The police has registered a case against a Medical Officer of District hospital Rajouri for the alleged assault on his colleague during duty hours today.
A police officer told the Excelsior that on the complaint Dr Nafeez (Dental Suregon), an FIR No 39/2015 under Sections 353/382/332 RPC has been registered against Dr Javed ( Medical Officer) of District Hospital, Rajouri. He said the police has started investigation into the matter.
CMO Rajouri when contacted said that after receiving complaint from the victim, he had directed Medical Superintendent of the hospital to initiate an inquiry. It was found that Dr Nafeez was in OPD attending patients when Dr Javed reached there and allegedly started abusing. He allegedly manhandled the Medico on duty over some petty issue regarding duty. Accordingly, the matter has been referred to the police and departmental action would also be taken in this regard.
