Doctors, paramedical staff protest against manhandling of MO

KATHUA, June 27: Doctors and paramedical staff protested at District Hospital Kathua this morning against manhandling of a doctor by four goons at his residential quarter in the DH premises late last night.
The protesting doctors and staff was demanding immediate arrest of culprits and registration of case under law against them.
They said that with this lawlessness the doctors and para medical staff are not safe in DH Kathua and they can’t perform their duties during odd hours.
As per reports four goons knocked the door of the quarter of Medical Officer, Dr Suresh Kumar late last night in DH Kathua. When the doctor opened the door he was manhandled by them for unknown reasons and later all the four fled. The Kathua Police has however registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law but no one has been arrested so far.
