Documentary on Swami Nand Bab released

JAMMU, Dec 29: A documentary on Swami Nand Bab Sahib was released today during ‘Bhajan Aradhana’ held by Athrot in association with Ashram Swami Nand Bab Sahib, Lale da Bagh, here at Abhinav Theatre.
The programme was organized to celebrate 122nd Jayanti of Swami Nand Bab Sahib. Nand Bab, the mystic saint was born on 30 December, 1896 at Purshaar (Srinagar) and groomed at Nuner Ganderbal. His devotees call him Nand Mout. He has done so many miracles before he left this world on 10 October, 1973.
Devotees of Swami Nand Bab thronged Abhinav Theatre today as a documentary titled ‘Nandsarkaar’ by Kanwal Peshin on life history and teachings of Swami Nand Bab was released by Dr Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor (VC), University of Jammu (JU). Also graced the occasion were Vijay Bakaya (IAS), GL Raina (MLC) and Kuldeep Khoda (IPS).
The programme was followed by devotional songs sung by children. On the occasion, Harmukh Gangbal Trust headed by Vinod Pandit and Anil Bhat were awarded with Gauraw Samaan for Gangbal Yatra. PK Raina was awarded best male voice of 2018 as anchor and Kusum Tickoo was awarded best female voice as anchor 2018.
Meenal Peer was awarded best actor 2018. Ashish Raina was felicitated for superb camerawork and Rohit Pandit (RP Films) for super skills in editing and grading.
A brief description about documentary was given by Kanwal Peshin and key note address was presented by Vikram Koul (publicity secretary, Swami Nand Bab Ashram).
