Doda administration to raise funds for Red Cross

DODA, July 30: The district administration Doda has decided to seek donations to raise   funds   for District Red Cross Society.
For mobilizing maximum resources, the  administration has fixed  reasonable donations on sustained basis for issuance of shop licenses and renewals, issuance of gun licenses and renewal, permissions, contracts, registrations of vehicles, building permissions, allotment of land, mutations, issuance of drug licenses and renewals, provisional and permanent registration of SSI units etc.
Besides, donation from clinical labs, X-Ray shops and Medical shops will also be collected to raise  the resources for the Red Cross Society in the district for the benefit and welfare of the poor people.
Addressing a meeting convened in this connection, the District Development Commissioner, Farooq Ahmed Khan (also chairman of the DRCS)    impressed upon the officers to put in their best efforts to raise and mobilize the resources of the Red Cross Society which will certainly go a long way in strengthening the resource base of the society to help the people  in the district and carry forward the noble cause of humanity.
