JAMMU, Oct 26: Doda police, today organised ‘Nukkad Natak’ in Doda town in the commemoration of the martyrs who have made their supreme sacrifices for integrity and sovereignty of the nation.
The event was organised under the guidance of SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom and was coordinated by Master Popsy Addl. SP Hqrs Doda. The aim and objective of organizing the programme was to create awareness among the general masses and to showcase the hazardous effects by using the drugs besides remembering the sacrifices, bravery, true spirit of patriotism of martyrs.
On the occasion, a team of artists (Ridhiaks Theatre & Films Production) presented a drama and skit show at Bus stand Doda which was witnessed by huge gathering of locals of Doda town and its peripheral area.
Doda is set to organize number of events to observe martyrs week at various locations in the district which includes debate, painting competitions of school children, Band show and displaying of photographs.
