JAMMU, Dec 25: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) here today paid rich tribute to Bharat Rattan Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya on his birth anniversary.
While paying rich tribute to Malaviya, president DBPS, Ved Parkash Sharma said that Uttar Pradesh in particular and nation as whole cannot forget the services of Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya who functioned as Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University from 1919 to 1938.
Senior BJP leader and president Tawi Andolan, Chander Mohan Sharma called for emulating values and principles of great freedom Malaviya.
B.S Jamwal, DBPS Chairman, P.C Sharma, NMC president, Subhash Shastri and others also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the life of Malaviya.
Among others who paid tribute were V.M Magotra, N.C Sharma, M.L Sharma, Satyanand Sharma, Soujanya Sharma, M.L Padha, Pt. Barita Ram, Shiv Ram Sharma, Jagan Nath Sharma, K.L Sharma, Davinder Sharma, S.S Baru, Gurdass Sharma, Sat Paul Sharma, Raman Sharma, Som Nath Sharma, Rajesh Bargota, Prem Balotra, Sanjeev Kerni, Ramesh Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Krishan Lal Sharma, Jagdish Dogra, Balwinder Singh Bhatia, Brij Mohan Dubey, Girdhari Lal, Prem Sharma, Vishnu Kant Sharma, Swanter Sharma, Birbal Sharma, Megha Raina, Vansh Raina and Ganesh Kumar.
The members also paid rich tribute to Bharat Rattan Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
