JAMMU, Oct 6: Chairman of the OBC Department/Wing of the Pradesh Congress Committee J&K, Suresh Dogra (Adv) donated a wheel chair to a physically challenged old woman.
On the occasion Parshotam Mehra, vice chairman of the wing was also present. While speaking on the occasion Dogra said that people with disabilities in the developing world do not have adequate access to medical care. A wheelchair is a form of assistive technology which eases the burden for many.
He claimed that one person approached him and disclosed that a poor woman who is unable to move without support, is having severe need of a wheel chair. So without any delay, he along with his companions reached at her residence at New Plot Jammu East Assembly constituency donated a wheel-chair to underprivileged physically challenged old lady and took her blessings.
Dogra further added that the leadership of the Congress party is always in the service of humanity and always renders selfless services to the people. He further added that his work for humanity and nation shall be continued.
