BARI BRAHMANA, Mar 22: Dogra Group of Colleges successfully organized an International Conference on “Innovations and Challenges in Law, Business, and Education for a Sustainable Future.”
The conference, held in a hybrid format, brought together scholars, industry experts, and professionals globally to discuss sustainable solutions in law, business, and education.
The event began with the traditional lighting of the commemorative lamp, followed by a welcome address by Dr Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary of Dogra Educational Trust.
The inaugural session featured keynote addresses from distinguished guests, including DC Raina, Senior Advocate and First Advocate General of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh; Prof Shrikrishna Deva Rao, Vice Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad; and Rahul Sahai, Chairman of ICC Jammu Chapter.
Their speeches focused on the importance of innovation in addressing contemporary challenges and ensuring sustainable growth.
D C Raina’s presidential address emphasized the role of legal professionals in societal change, particularly in India’s economic transformation.
Prof Shrikrishna Deva Rao highlighted the significance of Digital Forensics and Alternative Dispute Resolution in today’s digital age, while Rahul Sahai discussed corporate responsibility in light of evolving business regulations.
The conference featured two technical sessions. The first session covered Cyber Law, Data Protection, and the Legal Impact of Artificial Intelligence, with contributions from experts like Rishi Malhotra and Prof Susela Devi Suppiah.
The second session focused on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and higher education reforms in India, with speakers such as Prof Jyoti Narayan Baliya and Prof P Arunachalam.
The conference concluded with awards for outstanding research, including the best paper award to Dr Anitha Selvaraj and the first runner-up award to Rakesh Mohan Koul and Dr Bela Thakur.
Prof P Arunachalam delivered the closing remarks, reflecting on the event’s success and key insights for future progress.
