JAMMU, Aug 20: The inhabitants of Dogra Nagar near here have demanded construction of drains in the area as sanitation and rain water has created health hazards in the area.
In a statement the residents of the area said that water gets accumulated in lanes causing health hazards and there is apprehension of epidemic gripping the area. The residents have made an appeal to Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to take immediate steps in constructing the drain especially in Lane Number 7. They also demanded improvement in water supply to the area as area is facing hardships due to water scarcity.
