JAMMU, Mar 17: Around 600 km away from their homeland, hundreds of Dogras from Jammu and Kashmir landed in capital city at India Gate to protest against the spadework to uproot them from their homeland.
“It was the time when Hindus from Valley were forced to migrate to Jammu and rest of the India and whosoever dares to stay back were raped, killed and ethnically cleansed. Now the efforts are being made in Jammu Province to create the same grounds to displace Dogra community”, the protesting Dogras said amid raising slogans against J&K Government.
They said that currently the major threat to the sensitive State is the illegal immigration of Rohingyas who are great threat to the internal security. The protesters stated that recently they had lost 6 Army men and one civilian due to this community (Rohingiyas) who sheltered the terrorists and helped them to sneak into the Army  Camp. Apart from this, the Rohingyas assaulted media persons who had gone to cover the story on illegal settlement.
“The Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir are feeling insecure and seeking justice for the past many decades. Every successive regime has Kashmir centric policies and nobody cares. Families after families are moving out from the State for better jobs because major share of Jobs are being distributed or allotted through planned Government machinery to the families of majority community in the name of lost souls,”, they maintained.
The protesting Dogras said that entire Government system and their representatives are trying their best to change the demography of Jammu Province by illegally allotting the State land to majority community in every district of the State. “People of majority Muslim community are called from outside the State to settle there and Government is giving full support to attain Voter Cards, State subject and all other documents to prove their residence legal despite of Article 370”, they added.
They urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene into the State matters and stop these atrocities and discrimination, stating that people from Jammu had given their mandate to Prime Minister to save the community but not to moderate the expectations and desires of Dogra community.
