JAMMU, Mar 7: Adbi Kunj J&K-a multilingual literary organisation released a Dogri book ‘Dharen Da Shalepa’, written by Mohanlal Pant of Udhampur at Vishavkarma Complex Gurha Morh, Bakshi Nagar, here today.
The event was organised under the chairmanship of Adbi Kunj president, Harsh Dalmotra, while the event was presided over by the organisation’s secretary, KR Salgotra wherein Padma Shri Dr Jitender Udhampuri was the chief guest of the event.
The chief guest of the event congratulated Abdi Kunj for the releasing of the Dogri book ‘Dharen Da Shalepa’. The organisers also felicitated Rekha Thappa and Mohanlal Pant, followed by a ‘Kavi Sammelan’ was also organised wherein different poets presented their poems.
The poets who read out their poems during the Kavi Sammelan including Aarsh Dalmotra, KR Salgotra, Sarwar Chauhan Habeeb, Chaman Sagoch, MS Kammara, Anjuman, president of Farog Urdu Fozia Mughal, Ashok Sharma, Rahul Arman, Neelam Mahotra, Uttam Singh Rahi and Mohanlal Pant.
The vote of thanks was presented by the chairman of the organisation, Aarsh Dalmotra.
