Dogri Ghazal Book by Vijay creates history

JAMMU, July 15: Single longest Dogri Ghazal Book ‘Daun Sadiyan Ik Seer’ by Vijay Verma, prominent Dogri poet, author, translator and broadcaster was released today following COVID norms.
The book was released by eminent literary stalwart Mohan Singh, president Duggar Manch, Jammu at Gurha Slathia, birthplace of legendary Dogri poet, K.S Madhukar.
Speaking on the occasion Mohan Singh called it a historic day for Dogri as well as all Indian languages that such a work has been launched in Indian literature.
He wished the poet to come out with more books of different mark with his rich language and new literary pursuits.
Darshan Darshi, prominent poet, author and novelist, Dr. Om Goswami, Shivdev Singh Susheel and eminent scholar, writer, Dr. Gian Singh, Dr. Jatinder Singh, Sukhdev Gautam and others extended greetings to the poet on release of his book.
