‘Dogri Kavi Ghoshti’ held at GDC Ramnagar

JAMMU, Oct 25: J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with Government Degree College Ramnagar organized a Dogri Kavi Ghoshti, in which poets of State and national repute as well as poets awarded by Sahitya Academy New Delhi recited their poems.
Principal of the college Prof Kusam Gupta was the chief guest, whereas Prof Tara Nath, Principal GDC Jindrah was the guest of honour.
The poem recitation started under the presidentship of Prakash Premi. The poems were recited by students namely Tanabi, Asha Devi, Pooja, Monika and Kajal Kumari and reputed poets including Jiya Lal Jiya, Abishap, Prof Tara Nath, Jagdeep Dubey, Duni Chand, MK Pagal, Mulkraj Bhamagi, Joginder Dubey, CD Magotra, Prof Pankaj Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Bachitar Singh Baragi and Prof Kewal Kumar.
Earlier, Rattan Lal Basotra, incharge of the programme from the Academy presented the welcome address, whereas in the end, vote of thanks was proposed by Prof Kewal Kumar.
The entire program was anchored by Prof Pankaj Sharma and Jagdeep Dubey.
Among others present were Prof Satish Kumar, Prof Varinder Singh and other staff members.
