JAMMU, July 2: Giving credit to Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh for initiating full fledged Dogri channel from Door Darshan, Duggar Manch president Mohan Singh said that it would enrich Dogra culture and heritage.
The Dogri language and culture will get promotion with this step and we are hopeful that Dr Jitendra Singh will honour his words, he said in a statement, issued here today.
He also demanded restoration of regular programme ‘Dharen De Nazare’ , which was beamed from Kashir channel daily at 10.30 a.m. “The starting of Dogri News from Kashir Channel is welcomed but a regular cultural programme should not be closed. We hope the DD will correct itself by restoring this programme,” he added.
