JAMMU, Mar 22: Dogri Sanstha Jammu has invited entries for the prestigious Prof Ramnath Shastri Memorial Award and asked all the eligible Dogri writers to submit their work by March 31, 2023.
According to Prof Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu, those writers who have got their first Dogri book published between 2018 and 2022 may submit three copies of the work at Dogri Sanstha Jammu by March 31st. He further said that the books submitted should not have been awarded either by Sahitya Academy, State Academy or any Government and Non-Government organizations.
It is pertinent to mention here that this award is given on the first ever book of a Dogri writer published for the last five years. This year it will cover time span of 2018 to 2022.
Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’, General Secretary of Dogri Sanstha Jammu said that the best book will be selected by a jury of three judges and the awardee will be given a memento, shawl and a cash prize of Rs 21,000.
