JAMMU, June 5: Dogri Sanstha Jammu released Ritu Singh’s Dogri book ‘Dogri Mukrian’ in a simple but impressive function organized at Dogri Bhawan, Dogri Sanstha, Karan Nagar, here today.
Prof Veena Gupta, Sahitya Academy awardee was the chief guest of the function whereas Prof Lalit Magotra (president, Dogri Sanstha) presided over the function. Prof Veena Gupta congratulated the writer for enriching the language with new genre in poetry.
Prof Lalit Magotra in his presidential address applauded the efforts of the writer and hoped that more writers will work on it.
Ritu Singh also spoke at length about the book and inspiration derived from Prof Shashi Pathania to compile the collection in the form of book. Susheel Begana presented paper on the book.
The proceedings of the function were conducted by Dr Chanchal Bhasin whereas vote of thanks was presented by Inderjeet Kesar, vice president of the Sanstha.
