Dogri Sanstha organizes `Dogri Kahani Goshthi’

JAMMU, Nov 13: Dogri Sanstha Jammu organized online Dogri Kahani Goshthi in which three veteran short story writers; Inderjeet Kesar, Chaman Arora and Ashok Dutta presented their short stories.
The program started with Inderjeet Kesar, Sahitya Academy awardee and well known for penning down novels and poetry, presenting his short story ‘Prajit’. Thereafter eminent short story writer Ashok Dutta presented his short story ‘Gift” and after that Chaman Arora, another well-known Dogri writer presented his short story ‘Skin Heads’.
The program was presided over by Prof Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu. In his presidential address, he said that all three short story writers know the craft of interweaving the plots around familiar characters and situations that make it easier for the readers or listeners to connect with the stories.
The program was conducted by well- known Dogri short story writer and playwright Jagdeep Dubey. The technical support for smooth conduct of program was given by theatre activist and Dogri writer Pawan Verma. It was watched on Facebook page of Dogri Sanstha Jammu and appreciated throughout India and abroad.
