Dogri Sanstha organizes online ‘Kahani Goshthi’

JAMMU, May 15: Dogri Sanstha here today organized an online ‘Dogri Kahani Goshthi’ in which short story of Ved Rahi was presented by Prof. Shahsi Pathania while Prof. Lalit Magotra and Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ presented their short stories themselves.
The Goshthi started with Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’, an eminent English, Hindi and Dogri writer who presented his short story ‘Barkati’ revolving around man-woman relations.
Prof. Lalit Magotra, a prolific Dogri writer presented his short story ‘Marne De Baad’ revolving around the experiences of a wealthy man after he plans his death just to experience reactions of others thereafter.
Prof. Shashi Pathania presented celebrated short story writer, novelist, poet and filmmaker Ved Rahi’s short story ‘Trutti Di Chhatri’ which revolved around agony and sufferings of an old man after the death of his young son in a blast by militants.
The Kahani Goshthi was presided over by Prof. Veena Gupta, vice president Dogri Sanstha Jammu.
She complemented all the three story writers for their thought provoking stories and said that all the three short story writers are well known for their contributions in Dogri literature and the Kahani Goshthi was very successful.
The Kahani Goshthi was conducted by eminent Dogri short story writer and playwright Jagdeep Dubey and vote of thanks was presented by Pawan Verma, well known theatre activist and Dogri poet.
