Dogri Sanstha releases Ashok Ambar’s ‘Ekk Anjul Chanani’

JAMMU, July 23: Dogri Sanstha Jammu today released Ashok Ambar’s collection of Dogri Ghazals ‘Ekk Anjul Chanani’in a simple but an impressive function at Dogri Sanstha, Dogri Bhawan, Karan Nagar, Jammu.
Khalid Hussain, eminent Punjabi writer was chief guest and Deepak Aarsi, a well-known Dogri poet was guest of honour on the occasion whereas the function was presided over by Prof Lalit Magotra, president Dogri Sanstha Jammu.
It is pertinent to add here that Ashok Ambar is a well-known Dogri poet and is also awarded with Prof Ram Nath Shastri Memorial Award.
Khalid Hussain, while interacting with the audience as the chief guest said that Ashok Ambar is a well-known poet in Dogri language and knows the depth of Ghazal writing. Deepak Aarsi while complementing the poet said that whatever he writes, it’s from innermost of his heart.
Prof Lalit Magotra, in his presidential address, said that there are always expectations from the poet like Ashok Ambar and he always delivers with another collection of Ghazals. This book is also a fine example of Ghazal writing, he added.
The poet Ashok Ambar also recited a few Ghazals on the occasion. A detailed paper on the book was presented by Raj Kumar Behrupia and Susheel Begana presented vote of thanks. The programme was conducted by Pawan Verma.
A number of writers, literature lovers and family members of Ashok Ambar attended the function.
