JAMMU, Aug 8: Dogri Sanstha Jammu released Santosh Sangra’s collection of Hindi essays ‘Koham’ in a simple but impressive function organized at Dogri Bhawan, Karan Nagar (Jammu).
The chief guest on the occasion was Parvez Deewan (retired senior IAS officer) and guest of honor was ex-Vice Chancellor Jammu University Prof R D Sharma while the function was presided over by Prof Lalit Magotra (president, Dogri Sanstha Jammu).
In his speech, Parvez Deewan lauded Santosh Sangra for her continuous literary contributions in addition to her theatre activities. He hoped that she will continue enriching Hindi and Dogri literature with her thought provoking contributions in future also.
Prof R D Sharma gave detailed account of the articles published in the Book whereas Prof Lalit Magotra said that Santosh Sangra’s contributions as a theatre activist and Hindi and Dogri writer are praiseworthy. Santosh Sangra also read a few articles from the book.
A detailed paper on the book was presented by Dr Bansi Lal Sharma whereas Promila Manhas conducted the proceedings of the event that was attended by galaxy of personalities from literature, art, theatre and family members of the writer.
