JAMMU, Mar 21: In a function here today Dogri song ‘Gall Suni Lai’ was released.
The chief guest on this occasion was Cabinet Minister, Javed Ahmed Rana who reaffirmed his commitment to support regional artists to foster cultural initiatives in J&K.
Padma Shri Balwant Thakur was guest of honour and he commended the song as team’s dedication to preserve the rich heritage of Dogra music.
Other distinguished guests present on the occasion were Rakesh Jamwal, Zorawer Singh Jamwal, president Team Jammu and Bunty Cartoonist.
The song ‘Gall Suni Lai’ was sung by Sonali Dogra and Sourav Shivalaya.
The video featured Surya Divyansh and Shivani Wazir in lead roles, lyrics of the song were written by RKT, music composition by Musical Mafia and arrangements were made by Krishan Kumar Johny.
It was directed by Akash Dogra, who also handled the cinematography, editing and grading. Choreographer was Divam and Assistant Director was Karan.
Dancers were Rashita, Amandeep, Urvashi, Shivani, Japneet, Vishali Manhas, Divam, Karan, Lovish and Lokesh.
The song was produced by Neelam Kumari and Varsha Dogra under the banner of Natya Roots Productions. Special appreciation was extended to Kasturi Lal Gupta, ex-Sarpanch of Latti, for his support in making this project a reality.
