JAMMU, Jan 31: Ankush Gupta Records released Dogri song “Ik Mai Bullet Rakhna” here today.
Mayor Jammu Municipality Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta was the chief guest, Former Director All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan (DD) Jammu Anjali Sharma was the guest of honour and Chairperson WCMP, Sandhya Mahajan was the special guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Mayor said that these types of programmes develop a sense of appreciation for our Dogri culture amongst the younger generation. He emphasized the need for preservation of our culture and promotion of the art, culture and languages in the J&K.
Earlier, Singer Ankush Gupta gave a brief resume on account of the programme to be carried out under the channel. Gupta further disclosed that a new concept is launched to promote Dogri language through this Dogri song. The music is composed by renowned Music Director Parmjeet Pami.
He expressed gratitude to renowned Dogri folk artist Romalo Ram, Yash Kumar music teacher, Abhay Ram Deputy Secretary Floriculture, Ashok Gupta Naib Tehsildar, Rahul Sharma Video Director besides actor, actress and lyricist which include Sars Bharti, Pankush Verma, Aju Rakhane Alla.
Later, the prominent personalities who released the Dogri song were Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta, Former Director AIR and DD Anjali Sharma, Chairperson WCMP, Sandhya Mahajan, Video Director Rahul Sharma, Sars Bharti, Pankush Verma etc. Besides the organizer got screened Dogri video song “Ik Mai Bullet Rakhna” especially for the audience at Press Club, here.
The proceeding of the programme was conducted by J&K renowned artist Sahiba Bashir.
Among others, renowned artists Sonali Dogra, Parry G, Sushma Rajput, Varsha Jamwal, Sanyam Pandoh, Lekh Raj, Deep Kumar, Shubham Sharma, Dr Aditya Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Mohinder Kumar, Roshan Angurana, Dharvinder Sheria and Divyansh Bawa were also present on the occasion.
