JAMMU, Feb 17: Police seized domestic LPG cylinders and illicit liquor pouches from a hotel at Link Road, Miran Sahib.
As per police sources, police team from Miran Sahib police station led by SHO Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Devinder Singh and SP Headquarters Randhir Singh conducted a raid in Hotel Kartar at Link Road.
The police team seized 9 domestic LPG cylinders and 25 pouches of illicit liquor.
The owner of the hotel identified as Swaran Singh alias Motu, son of Kartar Singh, resident of Simble and his son Pawandeep Singh managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR number 28/15 under Section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act and 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Miran Sahib police station and investigation started.
