JAMMU, Oct 7: The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) organized a donation camp today at Government Primary School Kukrain (Marh), Jammu.
The camp was led by Raghuveer Singh Bhau, during which essential relief materials were distributed to needy children and youth. The camp saw the distribution of various items, including sports equipment like bat-ball, rackets, chess, ludo, footballs and carrom boards, along with school supplies like notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners and water bottles. The products worth approximately Rs 80,000 were provided to the students.
Addressing the media, Raghuveer Singh Bhau, Maharaj Thakur Arjun, Pardeep Singh Chib, Garu Ram, Suresh Singh Bhau, Kapil Dev and other members shared messages on moral values, emphasizing the importance of instilling them in children. They highlighted the significance of education, along with sports and ethics, for the holistic development of the youth.
On the occasion, Raghuveer Singh Bhau stated, “Such camps are not only meant to provide essential items to children but also an effort to spread awareness and promote moral values in society. Our aim is for our youth to not only be educated but also morally empowered.”
Maharaj Thakur Arjun also encouraged children to participate actively in both educational and extracurricular activities. He stressed that education and sports play a crucial role in the overall development of a child.
