Donations continue to pour in for fight against COVID-19

JAMMU, Apr 22: JK SC, ST, BC Development Corporation contributed Rs 1,73,046 in J&K Relief Fund. The amount was contributed by the employees of the Corporation to supplement Government’s efforts in fighting COVID-19 pandemic.
An amount of Rs 10 lakh was donated by Tej Ram Gupta, Chairman & MD of TRG Industries (P) Limited to PM CARES Fund. On behalf of Tej Ram Gupta, the cheque was handed over by his sons namely Dr Ashok Kumar Gupta and Naresh Gupta to J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina.
The KP Sabha Jammu made a contribution of Rs 1 lakh to J&K Relief Fund while Pashupati Mandir, an affiliate of KP Sabha Jammu donated Rs 25000 to PM CARES Fund. Earlier also, the KP Sabha had donated Rs 1 lakh.
Lions Club, RS Pura donated a sum of Rs 31,000 for PM CARES Fund to Dr Narinder Singh, vice-president, BJP, J&K unit through general secretary, Deep Sharma and president, Sawtantar Singh, in the presence of SDPO and SHO RS Pura.
Elihud George, a senior citizen of Saboo village and a former employee of All India Radio Leh, on behalf of his family handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to Commissioner/Secretary Health, UT of Ladakh, Rigzin Samphel towards LG Relief Fund to fight against COVID-19.
Sarpanch, Panchayat Muthi Maira, Jourian, Priya Sharma donated a some of Rs. 31000/- for PM CARE Fund to Tehsildar Jourian.
