Donations continue to pour in for fight against COVID-19

JAMMU, Apr 11: To support the Government in its fight against COVID-19, Kamdhenu Parivar from Jammu contributed Rs 5 lakh towards PM CARES Fund and Rs 78,200 to J&K Relief Fund through Kamdhenu Jeevandhara Foundation.
Ashish Langar on behalf of the Vipan Langer Education Trust Rajouri contributed an amount of Rs 1.5 lakh in District Disaster Management Fund for relief and welfare works during lockdown period.
Vimal Kumar (Managing Director, Omkar Nests Private Limited) donated Rs one lakh, former MLA RS Pathania contributed Rs 50000, Deputy Mayor donated Rs 51000, Ravinder Gupta (Additional Advocate General J&K High Court) donated Rs 11000, Councillors Sharda Kumari, Narinder Singh, Gopal Gupta and Baldev Billawria contributed Rs 11000 each, Councillors Narrotam Sharma, Rahul Kumar and Arun Khanna donated Rs 10000 each and Rachit Khosla contributed Rs 5100 in PM CARES Fund. The handed over cheques to Ashok Koul (organization secretary, BJP).
Bal Sant Shri Sahil Maharaj donated an amount of Rs 51000 through cheque and handed over it to BJP’s Jammu West unit in presence of former Minister Sat Sharma and district president Munish Khajuria.
Pankaj Khajuria on behalf of Khajuria family donated Rs 11000 in favour of J&K Relief Fund. He handed over the cheque to SHO Bishnah.
In Ladakh, D L Pethub Khangtsen Education Society Leh contributed Rs 1.5 lakh towards the LG Relief Fund of Union Territory of Ladakh.
Similarly, Likir Cultural and Welfare Society, Likir Gonpa donated an amount of Rs 1.42 lakh in the account of LG Relief Fund of UT Ladakh.
Tsewang Morup, a resident of Skurbuchan donated Rs 50000 in LG Relief Fund while an amount of Rs 15000 was also contributed by individual monks of Spituk Monastery towards LG Relief Fund.
