‘Don’t disturb quota of OBCs’

JAMMU, July 17: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has demanded that Constitutional rights and the quota of the reserved categories, specially that of OBCs should not be disturbed.
In a statement, general secretary of the AIBCU, Prof Kalidas said that 18 th Parliament budget session for the year 2024-25 is going to start from July 22, 2024. Great expectations are there among the youth and the people in general.
People expect some solace from inflation in general as majority people usually get their livelihood by labour work. Abrupt price hike in daily use items  make them despair as inflation makes their lives difficult to run.
He said the Constitutional rights of the people which includes the facilities being provided to the deprived categories which suffered for long. He said the reservations granted to the OBCs, SCs and STs should not have been disturbed. Scholarships have been either stopped or not paid in time forcing the students to drop their education which is totally against the democratic system of the Government
