JAMMU, Apr 4: Panthers Party candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency Prof Bhim Singh has cautioned the voters not to get influenced by the racing and flying opportunist politicians including former Ministers.
Prof Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party campaigned for vote and support to the NPP candidates in Lok Sabha elections contesting in Kashmir and Jammu Provinces at Budhal, Bakori, Kalakote, Nowshera and Sunderbani.
Interacting with the people in the interiors of Rajouri District, Panthers leaders observed that the villagers have been left to the care of the Almighty in absence of proper road connectivity, lack of health care facilities, non-availability of ambulances, no medicines and inadequate para-medical staff, surgeon specialists, etc.
During interaction, the voters complained that campaign leaders and Ministers of traditional ruling parties are adding to air-pollution by their Helicopters and high speed motor vehicles, besides destabilize the normal life style of common masses in the dingy villages. None of these self styled public well wishers ever initiate any solid welfare measures for children and women even at block level, but fill their minds and stomach with fake welfare schemes.
“Road from Rajouri to Budhal, Bakori is in deplorable conditions with lot of potholes”, Bhim said and added that drinking water scarcity and power failure have hit the hilly backward villages. The public transport is almost absent and the commuters are transported from one place to another just like cattle in the trucks, trollies and unfit Government transport vehicles, he added.
Prof Singh stressed upon the Development Commissioners, PWD, PHE, PDD and Irrigation Engineers to stop wasteful expenditure to appease former political bosses on the name of development and construction of un-necessary infrastructure. He appealed them to create job opportunities for skilled youth and technically qualified persons in varied farm projects, small power projects and waste management of polythene and other allied economic activities.
He criticized the Kashmir based political ruling parties for destruction of Kalakote mines which is an open shame for successive State and Central Governments, which never engaged  any mine experts to rejuvenate the wealth of Jammu Province.
Others who accompanied Prof Singh include Anita Thakur, Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary, Pushpa Devi, etc.
