JAMMU, July 24: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) has appealed to the Chief Justice of India (CJI) to direct the ECI to not hold any election in J&K till the decision on abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A is announced in the apex court.
Addressing a press conference here today MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple also appealed the CJI to review the shifting of J&K, and Ladakh High Court to Raika.
He claimed that BJP is misleading J&K people and the nation on democracy in J&K and is running away from holding Assembly elections in the Union Territory and demanded implementation of conditions of the Instrument of Accession.
“Elections without Statehood restoration are meaningless as the bureaucratic control over all these institutions has deteriorated the democratic values of these institutions,” MSJK leader maintained.
