Don’t hold talks with Pak: JWAM to Rajnath

JAMMU, Oct 24: Jammu West Assembly Movement today urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh not to hold talks with Pakistan till the neighbouring country stops sending terrorists in Kashmir.
In a statement issued here today, JWAM president, Sunil Dimple said that the Movement do not support the Rajnath Singh’s statement that “Center is ready for talks with Pakistan, Hurriyat, separatists and any one”.
He said the Home Minister’s visit badly disappointed the security forces and the people of the State as he failed to solve the Kashmir problem and let down the State and the whole nation before the Pakistan and Hurriyat leaders who had refused to meet him and out rightly rejected the invitation of the Prime Minister and Home Minister of the dialogue.
The JWAM president appealed Rajnath not to hold dialogue with the Pakistan or its agents. He said in this situation when the J&K is fighting war with the Pakistan on LoC and internally with the separatists, the Home Minister is ready for talks with the separatists.
He also condemned the statement of HM on Article 370 and Article 35-A. Dimple said that if the BJP had not mislead the people of the country and the State for the last 70 years by its misleading slogans on these articles, the situation in J&K would had not so much worsen today.
