NEW DELHI, Dec 16: President of All India Jat Maha Sabha (AIJMS) Jammu Choudhary Manmohan Singh has advised the parents of school going children not to pressurize their wards for scoring top percentages in exams. He asserted that students need a free mind devoid of any tension to excel in studies as per their capabilities on their own.
He expressed this while addressing a gathering at the Annual Day function of SS International School, Hirinki in New Delhi here today. Choudhary Manmohan Singh was the chief guest on the occasion and Yogesh Partap Singh (ADM Education) was the guest of honour besides local Corporator Janta Devi and PV Mehta, Maruti Head North being the special invitees.
Chairman of the School, Vinod along with Rajni Sharma (Principal) and Inder Singh (Director of the School) welcomed Choudhary Manmohan Singh by presenting a shawl, bouquet and memento.
Speaking on the occasion, AIJMS Jammu president lauded the School Administration for having achieved the distinction of being among the top schools of Delhi and providing world class quality education to the students. He said that the quality education imparted in the school is evidenced by the par excellence performance of its students. He said it is not only academics but in sports too the performance of the students is second to none.
While asking the students to work hard for their brighter future, Singh appealed the parents not to pressurize their children for peak performances beyond their capacity or for scoring high percentages.
