SUCHETGARH, Nov 18: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and District Development Councillor from Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony has urged upon J&K Government to not to force PM package and reserve category employees return to Kashmir as they may be at risk of their lives there with terrorists finding them as soft targets.
Tony said that sending these employees into jaws of death knowingly by the Government would amount to the worst form of human rights violation by the State which is highly condemnable.
The AAP leader was speaking on the sidelines of a function in which he inaugurated a road connecting Vidhipur Jatta and Layian villages.
He congratulated the people of Vidhipur Jatta and Layian villages on the fulfilment of their 53 years old demand of road connectivity between these villages.
Those who accompanied Tony were Mandeep and Sham Lal Bhagat. Tony also inaugurated several lanes in Korontana Panchayat here today.
He said that it is really an irony that even the terror victims are facing official apathy.
Tony asserted that the ruling Government at the Centre has miserably failed to ensure peace, safe and secure atmosphere in Kashmir.
He urged the Lt. Governor to direct the UT administration to address the issues of terror victims and their families with utmost sanctity and top priority.
