Double standards

Sir,
This is in response to the letter “Dealing with rape cases ”  by Prof Kali Dass DE Apr 27, 2018.
There is no doubt about it that the general anger against Rassana rape is genuine and everyone wants the real accused to be hanged to death without any further delay.
There are instances where such ugly and immoral incidents have occurred in the past also. But this time the well planned, quick and mass condemnation and agitation across the tunnel with the candle light marches by students, lawyers, media fraternity and civil society on a large scale forces one to believe that the whole show was a stage managed conspiracy to add more fuel to the already troubled situation in the Valley and to to divide communities on communal lines.
As per the media reports, there have been repeated rape cases in the other states after the Rassana incident where school girls have been raped and the scene video graphed.  The accused include school teachers and Madrasa Mualvis. One fails to understand  where are the candlelight marchers ,lawyers and politicians who left no stone unturned to show their anger and resentment against Rassana incident. Have they gone on long leave ?
Certain anti social elements and trouble makers in our country especially J& K are bent upon to divide the country on basis of religion and region. They do not miss any chance to politicise and communalise the situation using the innocent peace loving people as fodder.
We the peace loving people need to be very vigilant against the ill designs of our enemies.
Yours etc…
