RAMBAN, Nov 1: A double storey house was damaged in fire in village Pangla Maligam of Tehsil Ukhral.
As per police sources, fire broke out in the double storey house of Mushtaq Ahmad Rounyal in village Pangla Maligam of Tehsil Ukhral.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the flames with the help of locals. Army personnel also reached the spot and assisted in the fire fighting operation.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Ukhral Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, the locals alleged that the fire tenders could not reach their area due to lack of road connectivity. They also alleged shortage of water in their area.
The locals demanded road connectivity and sufficient supply of drinking water to their area.
